My name is Sandy Sanjurjo.
Once upon a time I picked up a crayon, I’m sure I ate it, among many of its brothers and sisters. Now they’re trapped inside me, circulating through my blood and making me anxious. Art is my method for expressing that angst. The work is colorful, and rich in contrast. Flow is important, so is value.
I use everything from spray paint to pastels, I occasionally incorporate graphic design and photography. I’m unsure if my work can really be categorized, but for the sake of argument, we will call it CONTEMPORARY POP ART. This is a collection of work that spans 20+ years. As my eyes catch new and interesting things, my style evolves. Thanks for spending some time with me.
